Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Pastry and Bakery Chef who delivers extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As an Executive Pastry Chef you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Pastry Kitchen with emphasis on quality, presentation and creativity, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Supervise the pastry kitchen in the preparation and presentation of all food items
• Develop; create high quality, creative, trendy pastry products
• Monitor regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality
• Monitor all aspects pertaining to the control of food cost
• Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements at all times
• Ensure consistent on the job training session for culinary colleagues and promote health & safety
• Speak (English) with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Management.
Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in KSA, transferable Iqama.
